Is Toyota planning on bringing back the Celica to the United States?

I heard a rumor that Toyota was designing a new Celica and planning on releasing it back into the United States. Is this true and if it is, when can I expect its arrival?
i dunno…….. but ive seen a photchop blended w/ of th Ft-HS concept (hmmm i dont know wuts th nam of th concept tht reveeled in last yeer’s NAIAS auto show)

LOL, just kiddin… I heard the same thing though…. but i doubt they will bring it back… I am sure they are trying to, but the US government arn’t allowing them because it will compete with their American Made trash….
probably not going to happen. the new celica if you will is the Scion Tc. same drivetrain and everything as the celica. it would be nice to see a new celica. the supra is supposed to be here in 09 as well. hope that helps.
