not a lot of companies would do what toyota did. im sure a lot of people respect toyota even more after the recall because they show they actually care about their drivers.

what happend if everybody have a prius? with 50 mpg in the city 60%of the gas stations have to close.
I give credit when credit’s due, and Toyota’s are good quality cars, however, I just can’t see my self purchasing one. I was considering a 4Runner, but now, with this whole excelerator issue, I don’t feel comfortable in one…
“If YOU FEEL that your Toyota is accelerating in a way YOU FEEL YOU can’t control…” LOL – Way to take responsibility Toyota!
…
“We at Toyota feel that these obvious technical faults and dangerous engineering errors are the fault of the consumer and encourage the public to just shut up about it.”
…Time to buy another brand
What happens when the slectrical shift wont shift into neutral and the push button wont turn it off? Didd they learn their lesson in WW2? Dont fuck with America. Is this a revenge scheme Im smelling?
ahahahaha thanks for the laugh man. Not saying they don’t have advanced features but do us a favor and just sit there and try to look pretty.
This is the kind of common sense driving instructions that I was taught in driver’s education.
This is the future
in response to James Sikes publicity stunt…
at 0:09 he should say: “if u are a hybrid car driver, then u are a total looser, who spend money in ugly, expensive and slowly cars”.
I hope Toyota will bankrupt someday!
Safest Cars to Drive for 2010
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), has unveiled its 2010 list of the safest vehicles on the road. The list included 19 cars and eight SUVs. Volkswagen, Ford, and Subaru were the manufacturers with the most vehicles on the list.
Domestic automaker Ford and its Volvo division took the lead with six awards.
In an interesting twist for 2010, the biggest automaker in the world, Toyota, did not receive a single safety award.

Orange County Sues Toyota For Acceleration Flaws (by The Associated Press)
The Orange County, Calif., district attorney has filed a lawsuit against Toyota Motor Corp., accusing the automaker of knowingly selling hundreds of thousands of vehicles with acceleration defects.
District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said at a news conference Friday that his office has the right to bring consumer protective action on behalf of Orange County residents.
Toyota’s lawyers have had this glitch covered for many years and the corporation’s insurance figured they could handle this.
They were very, very wrong.
I know that is what i was saying…put the dam shift into Neutral…. Toyota has been saying that like more than 100 times. And some people just don’t listen :/
