This is my take on the situation: All this hype that the media is putting out about Toyota makes me laugh…. Toyota led the world in sales while the American companies were getting bailed out by the government. The fact to the matter is that virtually every automaker in existence faced the same problem, the only difference between now and then is that the Japanese are leading the pack. As far as I’m concerned I would still buy a Toyota, and recommend it to anyone who asks me about them.
This fat idiot with the neck ring is talking out his ass, let the next 10 people too die be from his family and lets see if its acceptable too him then. Ohh and how about this you fat neckring fool , get in a ls350, wind it up too 90, point it at a bridge abutment in say 100 yards, peg the throttle too the floor and hold it, NOW with the camera running explain about the brakes and the way you think they work. Alex Roy, lets say your mother was killed as part of that 2% figure you throw around as if it it didn’t mater. Then, how would you feel about “context” ? No, it’s not a matter of “context”. If, and I say IF, Toyota’s have a design defect (probably software) it’s totally unacceptable of you to dismiss it as “taken in context”, when the result is death to the driver and their unlucky passengers. A design error that leads to death is not something you should be defending in your video.

yea see its people like you who give america a bad name. do you want to know why toyota is the biggest car manufacturer in the world? it’s obviously because people are intelligent. cough most people. intelligent people choose cars that are reliable, good quality, well designed. toyota fills all of those requirements and then some. the reason sales dropped was because we live in america and the government will do anything to try to make us buy american…ever hear of propaganda?

it wasnt the floor mat, thats what they thought at first, then they found issues with the spring in teh accelerator pedal, then they found a software issue. they really dont know the true problem
