   try free classified ads places like http://www.stumblehere.com/search/subject-for+sale/search_where-city/section-44/ i know you might be able to find something in there for you.

   autotrader.com, craigslist.com and ebay motors are all good.
   http://www.mycarauctionreview.com also has some car auction sites you can go to that have cheap cars for as low as $500.
